Walp, I missed all but about eight minutes of it, but I hit a really bitchin new line at Kent Westhill Skatepark. Then it rained, and we just drank beer and listened to the Dodgers sucking. I turned on Hannity just now, and Romney is saying McCain kicked ass, so I take it he came off whiney, petulant and angry, while Obama sat there and looked and sounded like a guy who could probably be POTUS even IF you live in Lernerville, Pa? Anderson Cooper appears to have a hot date tonight, and CNN is postmorteming McCain's entire campaign. That pretty much answers that. Oh, didn't even hear it, but I guess it went like this: 'Yes, I know Bill Ayers. Bill Ayers is a guy in Chicago who wants to better educate children. I've worked with him on that because I'm from Chicago, dumbass. I heard he used to be some 'Radical' when I was eight, and I don't really know much more than that.
Why do you hate educating children?'

if you missed it, basically, the whole thing turned on "non verbal communication issues" remember when you took debate in high school and the teacher sort of pounded the concept about not doing stupid stuff when waiting to respond, like picking zits or scratching balls? Basically, McCain must have been absent that day. I think from here on it one would be wise to expect nuclear winter. McCain is like a voodoo doll, one with a fork sticking out of his back. And because of that, he's going to make sure the whole planet goes down with him in flames.

Why do you hate educating 'Merkan children?'[/i] LOL, better answer. CNN has pretty much declared Obama the victor, and Hannity is still talking about Bill Ayers.

On AC360, they showed the 2004 electoral college map, and they mistakenly had Wyoming colored blue. LOL I wonder how Darth Cheney feels about retroactively losing the Death Star to the Rebel Alliance.

I think he played the McCain/grimace drinking game.

BTW, did anybody catch McCain's position on using a SC justice nominee's stance on abortion as a "litmus test"? I think he was trying to say that he wouldn't use it as a litmus test and that he would select a justice strictly on the basis of the nominee's qualifications. But his response came out as a jumbled mess. To recap, Schieffer asked if McCain would consider a person "who had a history of being for abortion rights". McCain's exact words (including verbal stumbling) were: I would consider anyone in their qualifications. I do not believe that someone who has, who has supported Roe v. Wade that would be part of those qualifications. But I certainly would not impose any litmus test. It sounds like he's saying that he wouldn't use a nominee's stance on abortion as a litmus test, but a nominee's support of Roe v. Wade automatically disqualifies that person. If you want to get all technical, I suppose these two positions aren't necessarily diametrically opposed. I guess you can be for abortion rights AND be against the SC being the one protecting those rights (as opposed to the state courts). But still, isn't what McCain saying rather disingenuous? He wouldn't use a person's position on abortion as a litmus test but he WOULD use a person's position on Roe v. Wade as a litmus test. For all intents and purposes, it's the same thing. I'm assuming that most reasonable people who support abortion rights would support those rights in all states.

That's what happens to liars. Their arguments become random and don't make any *goshdarn* sense.
If you closed your eyes to little slits and squinted hard during that segment, you could see the evil little devil standing on McCains left shoulder, pulling at his ear and demanding, "Don't screw up!! Make The Base happy, muther*fudge*er!!" Then you'd look at his other shoulder and see a second evil little devil demanding, "For krisesakes, do NOT piss off one more woman or we are totally *fudge*ed!!!"
I'm pretty sure the confusion between the two was what was causing all the blinking.
