No pressure, though. LOL
I'm not finding anything to assuage my concerns about TP resiliency loss. My gaze swings to latex ...

Clive,
shot you my cell # via PM. Don't worry about sales out there right now. Mattress companies are getting killed in this economy. Sales are always common; in this economy moreso. One of the biggest sales of the year is Labor Day. Much easier to discuss on the phone.

Was amazingly impressed by this in the store. When Sal gets back if she likes it I guess we'll get one shortly. Felt much nicer (firm, yet soft) than the Sealy foam something or another for $1200 @ Sears. Wish we could afford something nicer right now. Meh.

Neither the wife or I cared for the Tempur Pedic thingies we tried at a store. Once in a spot you couldn't move and we thought we would roast on them.
So we just got a decent firm pillow top which works fine and we won't worry about replacing it when the time comes. Shutting up and going away now.

What sells better to hotels? Durability/performance/coil spring life or cleanability? Protein resistance. long-term performance/comfort v. price. In a word, value. There are some fabrics coming out that do a decent job with, uh, protein "spills." The problem is that you still have holes from the needles in the quilting. You may not see the stain, but the nastiness may be in the upholstery. Most of the brands mandate properties use mattress protectors, though as with mattresses not all protectors are created equal.
