In an extraordinary breach of congressional decorum, a Republican lawmaker shouted "You lie" at President Barack Obama during his speech to Congress Wednesday.

Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., tried to call Obama to apologize in person, but ended up speaking to White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel.

The contrite congressman, "expressed his apologies" to Emanuel, not the president at whom he had shouted a few hours earlier, Wilson's office said.

I would dearly, dearly love to hear how THAT conversation went, especially given Emanuel's well known penchant for 'Colorful' languge (he curses like a Blagojevich).

I swear, when I see some picture of some *goshdarn* *bunghole*, douchebag-looking Congressman, I know immediately that he's a Republican. I'm not saying that all Republican Congressmen look like *bunghole*, douchebags, but every Congressman who looks to me like an *bunghole* douchebag turns out to be a Republican. I don't know why I have this skill. It's like almost like a sixth sense--like having a really accurate gaydar.

They all sort of remind me of the frat boys from the jock/face-timer houses on campus, who tend to be perfect in appearance but as soon as you get to know them you realize you'd never introduce them to your little sisters
