They keep mentioning that after tonight, Favruh is the first QB in NFL history to beat all 32 teams, but as I recall, he used to beat the Packers on a regular basis with all his INTs.

Good game.
Arron Rodgers is a hell of a quarterback. Behind a healthy/decent offensive line, he is an outstanding quarterback.

That was the thing most people took away from this game, Green Bay obviously made the right choice 2 years ago. Man is their talent level depleted from a couple of years ago. Farve looks great after taking training camp off, fresh as a daisy. We'll see how long it lasts.

The Queens had no choice to make the decision they did. If I'm a Green Bay fan, I'm disappointed in the loss, but I would be very happy with the way they performed last night. Into a (Nationally) hostile environment, depleted, battered, and heavily injured, and basically stood toe to toe, punch for punch for 70% of the game.

...to people who dog on big ben without seeing every steelers game. what Rodgers saw in the 1st half was just like the average 2007,2008 performance of a steelers oline. what he saw in the 2nd half was like the "bad day" from that group in that time. Now, the line (knock on wood) is playing "average" to "acceptable" this year and look at how much better he's doing. Rodgers is faster, can elude more sacks with speed, but once he's hit he can't shed them, and is perhaps even more prone to trying to make a dumb hero play while 1/2 way to the ground. Nonetheless, 90% of QBs in this league would be dead playing behind that turd of an Oline last night, and I definitely have more respect for his play / toughness than I did before.

I agree Rodgers is great. The OL needs help but with Clifton out and a backup out it was totally dismantled and played like it. AD is a freaking stud and his mere presence allows Favre to make plays. Our defense isn't that bad when our Jenkins is out on the field. The vikes played a good game though. I like our chances at home though. The NFC North is going to be a tough division excluding Detroit.

You're going?
Awesome!
It was a blast! First Vikings game I've been too, and it was spectacular. A friend of ours gave us 4 tickets to the game so it was Kev, our dad, uncle, and me. Our seats were between the 11 and 15 yard lines, 3rd row, close to the viking ship. The almost-on-the-field view gave a whole different perspective to the game. Needless to say, I had a wonderful time! See you at the game! Only if they're there with us. Sweet! I'll look for you guys on tv. My aunt and uncle were watching the game, but they didn't see us. Of course, they weren't looking for us, either. (We had sent my cousin Ky an IM, but somehow he didn't get the memo. ) Apparently, my cousin Amy and her boyfriend were also at the game. She called her mom (said aunt) to say she thought she saw her uncle (mom's brother) on the stadium screens, and that's kinda how they found out we were there. The camera guy was stationed by us and really seemed to like my uncle. (I'll be the first to admit that he does have a unique presence.) They focused in on him at least 6 times, and my dad, Kev, and I were on screen a few times, too. See you at the game! Only if they're there with us. Sweet! I'll look for you guys on tv. Just look for the two skinny kids with the mountain of food in front of them... Sorry, but we didn't go to the games to eat. We went to watch the Vikings play football. Seriously, we didn't even eat a Dome Dog while we were there.

I've gotta ask. What is it about your uncle that makes the camera love him so? Packers facepaint? Blond, waist-length viking braids? Massive girth? Tragic unibrow? Dreamy, bedroom eyes? Saucy Nordic tanlines? Smile that lights up a room? Or is he one of these guys?

Not exactly a true blonde, rather a dark-blonde-leaning-towards-brown blonde. At 6'4", 300+ lbs. (due to health issues), my uncle can't hide in a crowd very well. Other distinctive characteristics (is that redundant?): light-toned skin, further emphasized by vitiligo; rather long, black hair; and a long (~7-8"), curly, white goatee.
