I spend 3 or 4 weeks in Palm Springs every late Feb and March. Temps are in 80's in mid March. I have been there in October and it was in the 90's. Very LOOOOONG summer of 100 to 120 degree heat. There is no shade in Coachella Valley. Just sayin.
He can always hope the impending global climate change catastrophe disrupts the cold, upwelling pacific currents off the southwestern north american coasts that give rise to the inland high pressure air masses that are responsible for the vast areas of desertification in that region. And that Hobama doesn't screw this up with legislation that measurably reverses existing greenhouse gas emission trends.
