I can't believe 5 people called in!  I always subscribed to the lone asshat theory regarding PGA rules infractions(robertbarsch?), but clearly there's more people into this than I realized.

I'm tempted to start a satirical forum/community for people like this that like to call in and report things they see on tv.

As a smoker the criminalization of it really is pissing me off.

But help me out on this.  You seem to be a "rules are rules" guy in one thread but seem the opposite here.

I agree those asshats that see it and call in need to get a life.  But it's plain and simple not allowed in the building.

I mean MN enacted the Clean Indoor Air Act in '91, so it's not exactly like it's news.  You just don't smoke inside.

I'll go hypothetical on this:

You and I rent office space. We land the deal of a lifetime late one night when the building would normally beempty. We pop open a cold bottle of whatever and a couple of stogies. Our neighbor in the building happens to drive by, pokes his head in and invites himself to the party. He hangs around for 20 minutes congratulating us.

THEN he calls the cops on us.

Now, I AM a rules are rules guy: I broke the rule, I'll pay the  fine and frame the ticket, and do so without ANY complaint.

I'd do that because I am a standup guy.  The neighbor is still an *bunghole* of the highest order.

Make sense?
