FWIW - I don't have a horse in this race.


i was watching it.  it WAS A fumble.   what it was NOT was  down by contact  prior to  ugunleye  fumbling it away.  he was bobbling it when he was 'pinned' down with the 2 hands in the back

Brees flagged for intentional grounding while in the end zone.  Safety by rule.

Looked like a fumble to me, too.  The guy hand it tucked in one arm solidly; it wasn't until he got up that a Saints lineman knocked it out.  And I wanted NO to win.
