Never hit anyone else, but hit myself once. I was at the driving range and the grass was better BEHIND the line of mats. You would need to know that there were also strongly constructed (square steel tube) bag stands built and embedded into the concrete at each of the hitting areas. I hit a 6 iron out of the grass behind one of the bag stands, hit a line drive into the metal stand, and it came straight back at me like a bullet. Struck me square in the chest and doubled me over for a couple of minutes. Hurt like hell. Had a bruise for 2 weeks.

The good thing about getting old, is that you can hit the ball out of sight.

It's been quite a while since I've read a post by you (well over there, anyway). I still remember your welcome post to us in the thread I started to introduce us to you all. lol Anyway, it's nice to really know who I'm talking to - mores specifically than someone who used to post over there. And now your tech posts finally make sense. I haven't posted there in a LOOOOOOONG time. Too much animosity. I honestly haven't been going around incognito though. I thought all of GolfHos knows who I am. Anyway, nice to make your reacquaintance. I don't remember that introduction thread. What'd I say?

I was racking my brain trying to remember who would give such thorough answers to comp questions. But was coming up blank? Anyway, hello again!

LOL. I love jnolan/funk. That dude ruled. That thread is definitely a throwback - showing just how computer illiterate we were. The only redeeming fact is that we'd only had teh internets for about 5 months. lol at "I looked on GOOGLE", didn't even know to call it a google search or just plain ol' googled - and in all caps, no less.

It's all written up on FIGS somewhere. Search on "scramble" and "angle iron" with author Funk#49 and it should pop up.
So that's who you are. Now, has Wishicouldhit figured out who TFT is yet? James Gang fan, or just Joe (Toasted) Walsh?

James Gang fan, or just Joe (Toasted) Walsh? The latter mostly. Like the James Gang but don't know all their stuff. Funk #49 is a great song plus I've been told I look like this guy so why not. edit: Here's one of me. You decide.

I've been hit twice, at the local indoor range. The first time I got hit in the head by a ball that came down from the far end of the upper level. Nobody came down to apologize or anything silly like that. The second time was yesterday. Someone hit a screamer that hit the ball-cart and bounced directly at me. I had my back turned at the time and got it between the shoulder blades. I was very surprised.
