Man, I thought about it. Good for you! I'm really starting to get the itch after this past weekend. ****, I golfed last fall a few times in weather colder than what we had today. Of course the snow is still complicating matters.
No kidding! Of course, they don't make orange golf balls for nothing. But then there's the matter of the courses being open.... I still can't figure out why they closed when there wasn't snow on the ground.
Frost and frozen ground. Enemy of the northern golfer.
The last day I played last fall they didn't let anyone on the course until noon. At that point they only had about 90 minutes of tee times to get everyone in by sunset.
lol
I'd play on the frost and frozen ground if they'd just keep the courses open.
It's not for your benefit, my dear, that the don't allow you to play on frost and frozen ground. Footprints, cart tires, etc. in frost are murder on the fairways and greens. So I guess in a roundabout sort of way it is for your benefit.
Yeah. *sigh* It's just not fun to wait so long for the courses to open up, and you can only do so much in your yard.
