Watched Band of Brothers with my son.  Usually don't let him watch shows with a lot of "*fudge*s".  Special occasion and all though.

I bought the whole DVD set - awesome production!!  Cool

Executive pardons all around for the language!  Grin

I bought the box (tin) set for my stepfather a few years ago for Christmas.  He never watched it so I stole it.  Very impressed so far.  Fantastic history lesson for my son.  I've read the book so I knew *8==>* Winters was gonna be a super hero.  But weren't they all to be honest.   Bow

Language in and of itself doesn't worry me much as regards the boy.  Gratuitous language does.  For example, I don't get why Sandler's movies have so much.  Realistic WWII movies with profane soldiers ducking for cover?  No bother.  He'd hear worse from me if someone was plunking my ass with a Schmeisser.

Absolutely!

My favorite parts were the interviews with the actual soldiers.  Fantastic stuff - and I'm extremely thankful it was caught on tape.  Much more should have been recorded over the years from these guys and wasn't.

Ah, the modern world.  Can you say "deferred compensation"?  Some day down the road I'll be moderately wealthy flush with pocket change (see below).

"$100 placed at 7% interest compounded quarterly for 200 years will increase to more than $100,000,000 - by which time it will be worth nothing."
