Plan: Well, here's the deal. First, I took Aske's advise. I hit the entire bucket, with what I would describe as a 1/2, kinda knock down shot. The way he described to do in my video. Not for the wind, but more to find better control of the club head, shaft, plane, etc. The majority of the swings, I did not take the club much passed say 9 o'clock.
Just what the Dr. ordered, I've also started to use a head cover under my left armpit so I have that feeling of staying connected and not chicken winging it.
Second. I took Clive's advise, and left behind any attempts at focusing on my finish, or trying to "finish" a shot. I let the action of the club, and the tempo, with correct body rotation, and plane, dictate where I would end. I finished well in balance, with a good turn, and my hands going naturally high, and just forward of my left shoulder.
I try to feel the club head when I'm doing this drill, I mean feel the actual weight of the club head, and when I feel like it's behind me and I've completed my shoulder turn...
When I would concentrate on shaft parallel with my target line, and coming back down the same plane, it was even better. Dead straight, and many holding into the wind. So dead calm, I could see maybe a 5 yard draw.
...I try to do what you've said here, my left side is clearing and I'm trying to keep that shaft in line with my target as long as possible to delay the hit.
Results: Wow! I feel alive again, I hit many shots today that I just couldn't have hit any better period. Thanks all!
