Hey spaceage, I didn't want to threadjack the NHL thread asking about this.

So are you going to Vegas for work or fun (or both)?
Bringing the clubs?
What's your table game of choice? (if any)
Placing any bets on the Jazz while you're there?

I'm going specifically for work, but I have a friend who lives there and another friend I haven't seen in 3 years (since he moved to Phoenix), who coincidentally has a convention there at the same time, so I will be doing some playing as well.

I am not bringing the clubs for a couple of reasons, the main one being that I am flying and don't feel like dealing with the hassle. My friend has spare clubs if we decide to go play, but it's not in the current plans.

I prefer 21, but if I drink enough I can be persuaded to play craps. I tend to be good enough at 21 to not lose much, though I seldom win much either. As for craps, I might as well just write a check to the casino and be done with it. That being said, I do not gamble on the Strip. There's some bad juju there or something, as every time I've gambled there I've had my ass handed to me. I'll sometimes play if I make it to Freemont Street or one of the locals' places off the Strip.

The way the Jazz have been playing (5-10 in their last 15  Disgusted) I'd probably be better off betting against them. I'm not really savvy enough to gamble in sports books though, not to mention I won't play high enough stakes to make it worthwhile, so I'll not likely be placing any bets either way.

Heh, I suck at craps, too.  I don't even bother playing anymore.

It _is_ freakin' hard to stay sober in vegas.
