How'd you shoot? seemed like a nice day, a bit windy but maybe not up there at WashNash.

Scored an 88, but that's with 2 doubles on the first 2 holes that were actually DQ's for improper drop, lost ball, etc, etc.

The course had been punched and sanded earlier in the week, but it was still very playable. A few of the greens were questionable, but they had it playing pretty easy to make up for it.

Weather was really, really good for south King County in April, ie it didn't rain and the sun even came out a few times.

Didn't notice that it was windy...

Oh, sure, I ask how the rest of your round was, and you ignore it.  Seamus asks how you did, and you give a nice reply. Roll Eyes

Nice shootin' there Tex, the only time I played it was after the NCAA men's tourney, she was pretty beat up all right but still very nice.

Dear E-A-G-L-E!,

The rest of my round was very nice, and it was fun to play with MikeW, Howard and Dave again. We last played at Gold Mountain, another premier PacNW course on a gorgeous day last fall.

I played fairly well, with a couple of miscues swingwise (a topped ball on 15 ended up going into the waste area, probably a 75 yard shot) and I'm still losing 'The Big Dog' right more than I'd like.

FWIW, I did get the Dale Earnhardt Intimidator driver out for this one, and it plays very, very well.

Love,

MFAWG

rofl!  Thanks for the recap.  Sounds like a grand time. Cool

BTW, FX still says the "Intimidator" is spelled wrong. Should I spell it as "Intimadator" again? Wink  (Well, FX says that's wrong, too....)

Oh, and it's so nice that someone can tell when I'm joking...

Auburn GC. I hate Auburn for really only one reason, no practice range, it's become very important in my "old" age that I hit a bucket before I even think about playing.

I'm as ready as I'll ever be MFAWG, it was more about getting over that mental feeling that I'm gonna blow a disc again.

I'm going mental I must say! I need to play!

I could do Auburn on Tuesday. I haven't played it in a couple of years.

It might be a good idea to play it before your scramble. I've heard a couple of the holes have changed a little bit...

I've played it since the re-design (nothing too drastic I must say), I really need to hit a bucket before I play, How about Kent?, or anywhere else for that matter, as long as they have  driving range. I'm open LOL.

What I heard was that a couple of the holes were changed since last year, specifically that goofy straight uphill par 4 (11 or 12?) has been considerably lengthened, and something about 'The Launching Pad' par 4 coming back down...

Where do you live?
