Gopher - from an opposing team when I played soccer and then stuck with my team calling me it.

Hmm... I've never really stopped to analyze this much. Upon thinking, most of my nicknames are from family and relatives and most of my friends just call me by my given name. My grandfather called me "Peanut". My dad has several for me including "doodle", "punkie-doodle", and "doodlebug". Kev has a few for me, and so do the little ones. I guess the one that everyone (family and relatives) uses the most is Nat.
It's interesting to note that my friends (with a few exceptions) don't call me Nat. However, most of you do call me that if you aren't using my screen name. I've actually thought about this a time or two (or three or four) before. Maybe 'cause you are used to reading Kev use that nickname. Not that I mind, I just find it interesting.

doodlebug (aka antlion larva): gnat: When I was a kid, I used to drop ants into doodlebug traps and watch them get eaten.

doodlebug (aka antlion larva): *pic* gnat: *pic* When I was a kid, I used to drop ants into doodlebug traps and watch them get eaten. That is probably the worst pic of a doodlebug I have ever seen. (The old black & white encyclopedia pictures are much less ugly. ) Yes, yes, I quite live up to being a pesky little (g)Nat. That sounds like something Kev and I would have done when we were kids, too, had their been any around here.
