Very nice looking wedges -- the platinum finish gets my vote.  Will probably be picking a set up myself.

I ordered some platinum ones myself, also to replace the SMT durometer.  Mine should get here Wednesday, now if the snow that has been here for 2 months would go away!  Nice Pics, makes me wish I had ordered the satin ones. lol

I was going to order the platinum, but might have to reconsider the satin, they are sweet looking.   Cry

I'll be curious to see how they play.  I'm much more prone to thin than fat shots myself and instinct tells me thinner is better, wider soles are more apt to skip into the ball with my swing plane.

Mine are ready to go, the bounce seems perfect for chipping on my carpet, might not be enough for in the snow though.  The platinums are dead ****y!  Head size is identical to the Durometer, face is a little smoother but the sole has a nice grind to it.

I was chipping from the carpet onto the couch last night (mrs. s just loves when I do that) and was experimenting with rolling the face open. That zero degree bounce heel is nice. I might end up ditching my LW if it works that well off grass.

My living room is OB. Sad

I had the 56º bent to 54º, and got a 60º.

I finally got these out on the range today. (It's been since October that I have even swung a club. Holy *feces*, talk about teh sukk!  Sad) It's hard to offer any real review since I was hitting beat up range rocks off of wet sanded grass, but for the most part I was pleased.

The feel of these is about half way between the last two wedges I've tried (Durometers and Maltby M-Series). Crisp but not hard, definitely not buttery soft. They give a nice little "click" to let you know you've hit them right. Solid shots gave a good one hop and stop. It seems that if I can do that with range rocks, I should be able to get these to hold a green pretty well.

The platinum finish is definitely not bullet proof. I mi*feces* (an apparently really dirty or scuffed up ball) off the toe and have a nice little shiny spot as a permanent reminder. The soles also already show pretty significant wearing of the finish. I didn't expect the finish to last forever, but I'm a little surprised at how non-durable it really is. Probably my only disappointment, but no biggie.

The Rifle Spinner 5.5s in the platinum finish are definitely too stout for me, should have gone with a 4.5 or a 5.0. The Wishon High Flight shafts definitely work as advertised- high ball flight, decent spin, soft landing. Looks like the satins will probably be the ones to make the cut.

Thanks, Spaceage.  I was going to go with the platinum myself, saw your picks and thought the satin looked really good.  Going to order the satin now.

You're welcome wishbone. I think you'll like them a lot.

Holy *feces*, I just re-read the review, how many times can a person say "definitely" in 300 words or less? I sound like *goshdarn* Rainman.

As long as you don't start saying "like" that often it's fine. Wink

Finally got to hit mine, I don't think the platinum finish will last very long.  Can't really evaluate them yet, too rusty.  My other new club is an Exotics 4 wood, it gets a WOW!
