So Clive, what did you decide on buying, to entertain your son in the car, for your trip! I'm sure we had a thread on it! and And a dual DVD-screen player: one screen unit has the DVD player in it, the other can be slaved to it so both screens play the same disc. Both can hang on the back of the front-seat headrests.

Saturday: Golf in the a.m., nap in the mid p.m., take daughter to the driving range in the later p.m. She enjoys the ride to the range & hitting her 8 iron.
Sunday: Church, lunch, ironing (so much for my manly ways!), & some home work.

I think we're going up to some dumb ass music and art festival. Whatever. They do have a car show, and a beer tent, so.......meh.
Other than that, same ol' *feces*. Things will kick into high gear later in the month.

Golf on Saturday, likely followed by a nap, then some time with friends.
Sunday - more of the same I hope. If not - getting back to reading my Ben Franklin biography.

Atherton is about an hour & a half drive, west of here, up in the mountains, so it will be freezing. I'm not looking forward to the cold weather.
That's funny, I've never heard anyone describe Queensland as "freezing" The Atherton Tablelands, are like another country!!!!!

I'll probably play golf on Sunday and spend Saturday putting the finishing touches on my new deck. I should work on fixing my fence.
I had thought about going to see a band I like, but it's a couple of hour drive and after being away three of the last four weekends, I don't feel like it.

Saturday morning golf. No other firm plans as of now save one.
Zoe, my 10 1/2 year old, decided a couple of years ago it was my job to take her shopping for back to school clothes. She has picked this weekend. I have readied myself for the task once again and am preparing my patience to be at peak performance. One nice thing is my veto power works surprisingly well when she holds up something that I think may be a bit "trashy" and she seems to still value my opinion. However I feel a disturbance in the force that is telling me my time is quickly running out in that area.
So she has her list ready and her coupons from Limited Too and Gap Kids. Yeeeaaaahhhhhhh!!!.

Limited Too and Gap Kids. Prepare to be impoverished. My eight year old steps across the threshold of those shops under threat of permanent grounding.

Unfortunately she found out stores other than Target carried kids clothes last year. I have found Limited Too to be "reasonable" when you factor in all the specials and coupons they have. I do agree on the Gap Kids though. The leash tightens considerably.
