I prefer fruits from the Cucurbitaceae family.

My "San Francisco special."

One slice of cinnamon raisin bread, toasted.  Topped with deli turkey and ham, then with fresh steamed broccoli, and then ladled with Montery Jack cheese sauce.

Now THAT'S a sammich.  MMMMmmmmm.

Having never eaten any on the list, I submit.....

The Maple Spiced Pork Loin from McGurk's http://www.mcgurks.com/index.html.  Maple spiced pork loin, per the namesake, apple wood smoked cheddar, Guinness onions, on a toasted sourdough baguet.  Add a few condiments and you're in sandwich heaven  Drool

It's good, I promise.  But if you can't handle the cinnamon raisin bread, you could substitute sourdough bread, and it'd be more worthy of being called "San Francisco," I suppose, since there is a lot of great sourdough in San Francisco.
