While in Paris I went to an absinthe bar and drank quite a bit of it.  Hard to say if it was any different feeling that regular alcohol.  I do remember walking around the lawn by the eiffel tower and asking everyone for pot.  Most of the kids looked at me like I was some drunk ass moran american, rightfully so of course.  Finally the girl we met at our hostel from Gibralter scored some pretty good weed.  Any hallucinating I experienced I will attribute it to being drunk off my ass and stoned to the bejesus belt.  I'm guessing you'd have to mix it with opium, LSD or shrooms to trip.  I can see how the description below could happen but it wouldn't be too unusual for me if you know what i"m sayin.
