I recently started playing indoor again after almost a decade off. Started in over-30, now playing open again. At 39, I'm pretty glad I can still move around with most of the young guns. Smarter, not harder. Our coach's team went 3 years without a loss until last week, lost to an U19 boys team that went to nationals..
Well, you certainly must be in better shape than me (which would not be hard
). I had to give up the A league youngster chasing a year ago. I still have good pace, but no stamina (bite your tongue stroh!) - and our league was very fast paced. I gave up 3 nights a week for 1 a few years ago when my knees could not recover from game to game - that is when my 'wind' started to go.
Even if I get back into shape, I think I'm sticking with over-30 from here out.
