on the phone on hold with Sprint.
I have been getting this spam text message from somewhere and it is driving me nuts. I have been on the phone now for 30 minutes, on hold for 20.

That's too bad. I had a lovely weekend and concluded it by lunching with friends.

I've found over the last year of so, when dealing with customer services in companies like that; using the phrase AOL retention manual, is like a silver bullet.

Damn, that sucks. I'm trying to think of the last time I was on hold forever with a company, and luckily it's been a while. (except the guy in the cube next to me puts his "long customer service calls" on speakerphone, so I'm an unwilling participant in those )

Can you do that a lot? Do they notice/mind? [/t/j]

They don't like telecommuting here, though, for some reason.

I believe your expertise with small screws has been well documented.
