Probably worth its own thread but when was the last time any of you watched one of the big awards shows?  Grammys, Oscars, Tonys , Golden Globes, etc.

For me, other than a brief minute here and there it's been at least 20 years and maybe never. 

I watched a bit of the show last night. Caught the Beyonce-Tina Turner "Proud Mary" number which I found oddly entertaining. I'll typically watch 20-30 minutes of the Grammys.

I've never seen the Tonys. Don't remember watching much of the Golden Globes either.

Last time I watched the Oscars all the way through was sitting next to my wife in the hospital the night after she had our oldest. 11 years ago this March.

Other than that it's bits and pieces here and there.
