I've done a two hour round with a cart on an empty course.  I don't think it'd be possible walking.  Running maybe, but not walking.

I've done the same as Dunk and agree with him. It's just not possibly unless you have an empty course and are doing more than walking briskly. I also laugh at the guys who claim their regular foursomes play in "3 to 3:30 easily".

I've never seen conditions where a two hour round was even a remote possibility. Even if it were possible, I don't know how appealing it sounds. 3.5 hours or so would be about the perfect pace, IMO. Though very seldom have I seen conditions where even that is possible.

My 1:58 round was on foot at Heron Lakes Great Blue.  6491 yards, 71.3/137.  I was in a good place with my game and shot something like a 90.  I played a lot as a single during school, on nicer municipal courses, and typically took 2:15-2:40 per round on weekday morning or afternoon rounds.  Handicap was in the 10-13 range at the time.

I routinely used to play the 9-hole course (par 34, ~2500 yards) near my house in 50-55 minutes.  It wasn't very crowded and I was also a 10 at the time.
