I like crust, but not dry crust. I like the gummy crust at the bottom of the pot pie, and I break the peripheral crust and fold it into the pie filling.
I'm sure it's just because I'm a weirdo.

[rant] One important factor not to be overlooked; A pot pie is just that. It has very specific properties. Just because you have some sort of beef or poultry base with vegetables, and some sort of bread or crust type food associated with the mixture, does not it a pot pie make. e.g. A 9X7 casserole dish full of chicken stew with biscuits on top is not pot pie.
