alternatives to GoBack?
« on: November 30, 2006, 11:08:51 AM »

so our machine has RAID installed (the Intel Raid controller for SATA HD/DVD/DVDRW )  , which GoBack won't play with ...

http://www.farstone.com/software/restoreit-pro.htm

this appears to work like a combination of GoBack and GHOST  in one..., only supporting RAID ... AND!!! offering the backups onto DVD... (thus saving HD space)...

maybe not as many restore points as having GoBack writing to the HD in real time,  but once all the major programs are installed,  with DATA written to a separate partition.... this  seems like a pretty good alternative...

anyone used it?
