Things have been truly crazy over the last few months. To answer some questions: I had a baby boy. Really cut kid! That sort of caused things to speed up regarding moving in together, marriage, etc. We moved to a DC suburb as the city was no place for a baby.
I also switched jobs in order to get better benefits for the family. I am supporting all three of us now, as we decided that my wife should be a stay at home mom if possible. So basically, I'm broke.
(if anybody needs some legal services in Maryland done cheap, let me know! I think I need to start supplementing my income
).
Anyway, so much was going on I had no time to play on the 'net. Did I mention that the baby arrived early...the weekend we were supposed to move!?! That week was the craziest of my life. We were going to move on a Saturday. The wife had some pains that Saturday morning, so I took her to the hospital. The doc said we were going to be leaving with a baby. They started inducing delivery, but it turned into an emergency c-section the morning after (Sunday morning).
So Monday, I had the job of moving all the stuff myself (my friends who were going to help on the weekend had to be at their jobs on Monday). So I rented a truck and moved everything myself over the course of 4 days. I spent the days moving and nights at the hospital.
On top of all that, I was to start the new job the following Monday! I missed my entire last week at my old job. My head hurts just thinking about it.
Note to self: Don't have a baby, move, and start a new job all in one week.
Fortunately, mom and baby were fine...that's the important thing.
