I think I'm situated such that I'll have beach front property. Unfortunately, the water line will be several hundred feet below. I'm waiting for the polar ice caps to melt.
Turns out it was only 4.0 in magnitude. It felt a lot stronger, although it didn't last too long.

I didn't feel it where I am. Did you, the family, and dog react properly? (I forgot what the current advice is...under table? in doorway? duck and cover? stop, drop, and roll? southwest corner of basement?) That is, was it a good rehearsal for the Big One?
