It actually means The usual V for Victory Winnie used was the other way round, palm facing out, he's actually telling someone to there. He was a cheeky chappie.  This is the actual V for Victory sign....  It depends on which way the fingers are as to whether it's insulting or friendly. More fun since it's said to go back to fighting the French where English longbowmen would show their fingers in this palm to self manner to show that they still had them. The frogs were said to remove the fingers from prisoners so they couldn't fire bows. Not 100% confirmed, but nice anyway. Agincourt baby. We call it being flagged off as opposed to being flipped the bird, which is the middle finger, palm inward, obviously. |

That's not why I chose that particular pic. My son said he was cool when I did an image search for blue ranger and it was already small enough not to have to mess with the size. He thinks he is doing a bunny ears shadow show. The other ones didn't look erm, fully manly. The fingers thing is just an extra gesture of defiance by the man who puts on the suit, which I thought was fitting for my hero who fights injustice and the system from the inside. Power up, baby. |
