We have an empty bottle of Rosemont Estates Shiraz (2005 I believe) and an empty bottle of Placido Pinot Grigio (2004). We had friends over this weekend and need to restock. But most stores around here are out of the 2004 Placido and the 2005 is not great. So we are looking for a good dry Pinot Grigio for my wife since that's all she likes.

not even gris? grigio only? She likes gris too. She just doesn't really care for red wine that much. She's a champagne, pinot or beer drinker.

I'm wondering if pineapple wine could be turned into a nice sauce to go over coconut pancakes.
