I can't seem to find a youtube link for it, but Jerry Jeff Walker's version of Ray Wylie Hubbard's "(Up Against a Wall) Redneck Mother" is among my favorite covers.

Saw JJW a number of years ago at Red Butte Gardens. Sat on the lawn, got drunk, sang along with a bunch of Cowboy-Hippie type songs, almost threw up in a river. Good times.

The funny thing is I was searching for "Over The Rainbow" by a speed metal band. I thought Aske would get a kick out of it, and then I came across the version by Izzy, I first heard him just before his death in 1997 and have loved his voice since.
