Worst: Signs

I assume we are talking about Day of the Triffids. I remember, when I was young, (A long, long time ago, in a land far, far away), being able to sleep at night, after seeing this movie. The only reason I could sleep was that there was an way to kill these things and we were given the information.  (It was very important to know that the monster could be killed). Red Face

spacey meant this : Signs

But after your post, I read up on Day of the Triffids.  Looks pretty interesting.

There were a few different versions of it. One was an Australian, almost play like, version. I believe it was made for TV, and played on PBS.
The 1962 version is the one I was speaking about. Even though I was 11, it was frightening and quite tense.
On a side note, my brother, who was 4 years older than me, had gotten the comic book story a couple of years before the movie came out, and it scared him so much that he couldn't finish the book. Believe me, the story line is more than captivating.

I did see several of these coming, but that does not make them bad...

Jacob's Ladder
Shawshank Redemption
Usual Suspects
Shattered
The Game

Still have not seen The Crying Game, and have no plans to  Wink

The ending of Seven was incredible and intense, but I didn't consider it a twist.  Shawshank gave too much away in the previews, but it is still an awesome movie and I loved the 'twist'.

I've gone to find myself.  If I get back before I return, keep me here.
