Knopfler tics
« on: March 21, 2008, 01:41:55 PM »

I don't go to many concerts.  Aussie Floyd once a year and that's about it (blocking my recent MB20/Morissette nightmare for reasons of sanity.)

But I picked up two seats for Mark Knopfler today.  The missus won't go so it'll be a boys night out.  Looking forward to it and off to order the new album here in a minute.

I wasn't even aware he was coming. Should be cool, wish I could go.  Sad

Abravanel Hall on June 25th.  Easily the best place in SLC to see a concert.

Tics went on sale this AM.  Should be plenty left.  $61 up top and $81 on the floor.

for $61 you'd get a 2 day festival ticket and 20-30 bands   in the BM / DM scene

BM = bowel movement.  I know that one.  But I'm kinda stumped on the other.   Huh?

Depeche Mode?

Oh, you mean "tix". I thought this was going to be about Mark Knopfler's having developed Tourette syndrome.

Outstanding venue, have seen some brilliant shows there. Wife hates him, or at least dislikes him greatly.  Sad
