I'm in the same boat as spacey but I'll chime in with something.
50% more pars per round. I don't keep a handicap or really play for score anymore, I just go out and enjoy the round. But I do tend to keep score and know I get 1 to 2 pars per round. Would like to see that go up to 2 to 4.
I think that's doable.

since i doubt i'' get in more than 10 rounds this year, ummm, none.
I DO* however expect to finally break 80 on a real course, for once. I'm due for one great round really. My last 2 range sessions (spaced about 2 months apart) have been phenomenal-- in every phase of the game. *kiss of death*

I finished last year with an index of 8.23 but it'll go up a couple of strokes early in the season as it always does.
I'd like to get it down to at least a 7. That would mean I'd be under 80 on a regular basis. In order to do that, I've got to start hitting greens.

I'd like to get my average 9 hole score down into the 50s. Or at least the low 60s. Currently average in the low to mid 70s. I don't know if I'll get out enough to do that, but that plus a little less reading & a bit more backyard practice and it might be possible.

wouldn't that be 100% more ? Oh sure throw physics in my face why don't you? Some of us don't have that big diploma from Faber College like you! Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Give a working man a break. Besides they way I keep score that's about right.

Shot 87 (*) today for a differential of 14.3. Index trending at 15.7 down from 16.2. Should have one more round in from St. George before April 1st. That's 3% already. Woot!!! * Best 18 hole score in 18 months. I've had plenty of nines at 41-43 but haven't been able to put them together on the same day.

Up here it's not 'til like late April.

March 15th most years. It's been half a month either direction once or twice.

I'm shooting for a 25% improvement in my index - which would make me a single digit again, for the first time in 3-4 years.

Finished last season strong and managed to get back down to 12 after balooning up to 14 last last summer. If I can get down to less than or equal to 10 this season I'd be happy since 10 is the lowest I've ever been.
It might not sound like much, but there's a huge difference between 12 and 10. You can shoot in the 80's and be a 12, but to get to 10 or less you have to start mixing in some 70-something rounds on a semi-regular basis (unless you're playing courses that are very difficult).
So, 15%+ would be great.
