Lady balls vs Man balls....
« on: December 20, 2006, 01:38:22 PM » |

OMG!! I am hitting my wife's lady ball straighter than my ProV1, B330/B330S.... This is what I don't understand! I understand the bitch balls have different compression rate but I don't understand how it can affect my ball flight. Generally speaking, I can hit a high draw with my wife's ball (Pinnacle/Futura or whatever) 99% of time... but I tend to hit very bad fade with the ball of my usual choice! Of course I lot some significant distance with the bitch ball... my slice with B330 still further than the high draw with whatever-Lady..... (just further into the junks) Does anyone here can give me an idea why is it happening? Thanks in advance.

the ball should NNOT change you between a fade/ draw
that's bizarre.

I think it's all mental. Possibly when you're hitting your wifes' balls as opposed to hitting your own balls, you're making a more relaxed swing, meaning as her balls are softer than yours you don't have to feel like you have to pound them as you do with your balls. If you're getting better results with her balls, maybe you should play with them more often and stop playing with your own. Does your wife play with your balls or just hers? Maybe you should let her play with your balls more often then possibly you might be more relaxed...

Which lady ball are you playing, the Precept Lady?
Aren't most lady balls supposed to be lower spinning than premium balls with urethane covers (ProV1, B330, etc.)?

2iron... was using the same swing tempo. When I practise on course I use my phone as MP3 player and play a MP3 has nothing but "beep-beep-beep-beep" to train my tempo. And thats how it get very weird.
Same swing, same swing tempo, same club, same tee, different ball.....

I wonder if the Coriolis effect would turn my fade into a draw down there...

To bent whichever way to straighter, maybe.
To transform it from left/right shape to right/left?
Erm...
Andy, you should market it as slice correction, you will make millions.

So the ad for the "slice correction ball" would be like.. "If you have a fade as gay as mine, try Pinnacle Lady"

andy, is it the "Tour Tempo" system? as for the ball itself: a. I agree with Simon. Change in ball flight that drastic, is a "swing Change". b. If I found a ball that I could hit better, I play it exclusively, regardless of distance. c. I have not found it yet.
