Any other fans of Moose Drool?
« on: December 23, 2006, 04:13:01 PM »

The beer from Big Sky Brewing, that is. One of my all time favorites. (Others include Fat Tire, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and Stone IPA, none of which are readily available in Utah.)

Mrs s. brought me back a case of it from her trip to Idaho. It's been far too long since I tasted a really good Brown Ale. Yummy.  Cheers

Looks/sounds good.

I don't really venture into many different beers, but now and then, I'll try one.

We have it on tap at my pub, not really a big fan of it.  If you haven't had a chance to try the Celebration Ale this year, you are missing out.

Do you ever get up to Evanston?  If so look me up and we can drink some real beer.

Really about the only time I go through Evanston is on my way to/from Uintah Nat'l Forest, but we haven't been doing much backpacking lately. Now that Mrs s. is done with school, we'll prolly do more though.

Haven't heard of Moose Drool before, but I love Fat Tire and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, so I'm interested.  I just checked bevmo.com, and it looks like they carry it, so I'll try to pick up some Moose Drool next time I'm down there.

It's really nothing like Fat Tire or Sierra Nevada P.A., a lot maltier, not very hoppy at all. It's really creamy and smooth. Very rich too. One or two in a sitting is generally plenty.  Cheers
