Wait for the DVD/BlowRay/Cable.

Awe - it was a decent film, I'd watch it again.  But you're right - no real need to see it on the big screen.

It was awiighht, but just awiight.

Too many convenient plot twists to justify the revisionism and/or pandering to the faithful for my liking.

Fun movie I thought.  I watched the original series fairly religiously.  It was one of the few American TV shows we received and of course it was syndicated continuously for years.  I didn't get into it at the Trekie level though so I didn't notice any inconsistencies or reaches.  It was just a fun action movie for me.

I was in Toys-R-Us on Sunday.  They have this giant cardboard display for the Star Trek toy tie-ins.........  It's the Enterprise, and it's gotta be about 12 by 14 feet.  It's huge.

I want that sumbitch.
