Summer blockbusters almost never live up to expectations,

but I'm going to say The Avengers comes damn close.

Few minor nitpicks, and while I enjoy Samuel Jackson playing a badass as much as the next guy, Nick Fury just ain't a black guy.

The Stan Lee cameos seem a bit forced these days as well, but what are you going to do?

The whole point of the cameos USED to be that if you knew who Stan Lee was, it was kind of cool.

Now it's more of a 'HEY LOOK, IT'S STAN LEE!!!!' thing.
