Pro Bowl
« on: February 11, 2007, 12:07:51 AM »

Haven't watched one in years -- however seeing sportscenter this morning and where Drew Brees got injured.  No doubt he is one of the main if not the biggest reason for the Saints turn around and that got me to thinking.

Why don't the owners just pay the guy money equal to his share of the game and any other bonuses he might recieve in it.  Why take a chance for an injury that could easily sideline him for the coming year?

The Pro Bowl was a good idea that has passed it's time now.
It is only a free weekend for the players and the game sucks.

If they wanted to do something for the fans they should organize an autograph session or something similar, imo
