Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century.

He says that the Linux kernel - the deepest layer of the free operating system, which interacts most directly with the computer hardware - violates 42 Microsoft patents. The Linux graphical user interfaces - essentially, the way design elements like menus and toolbars are set up - run afoul of another 65, he claims.

LOL.  What a bunch of weenies.  Microsoft invented menus and toolbars... right.   Roll Eyes

They're going down.  Ten years max.

Microsoft probably has little to stand on.  Many of the 'patents' would likely be revoked as invalid under review.  But thats not to say all of them would.

'open source' needs a better front man than Stallman.  His ego will end up doing more harm than good.

Like Microsoft never violated a patent  Roll Eyes
