I liked the (mostly)American, Lorig.  She's hot  Wink

The recurves are lobbing the shots in there - the compounds (that Torpedo shoots, and I used to) would have more penetrating power... so to speak.  Cheesy

They showed some of the archers shooting in slo-mo, and I noticed how wobbly the arrows were as they travelled through the air. With the wobble as well as the amount of arc in the trajectory of the arrows, it's amazing that these competitors were able to hit so my 10s.

ah, I was wondering what we were looking for.   I installed Silverlight in the hopes of seeing some cute Romanian/Mexican/(mostly) American archers, but gave up unsatiated.

Lorig (born in Georgia, but mostly American) appears at 34:00.
Roman (actually Mexican) appears at 1:15:20.

BTW, Silverlight works great on my machine. I'm able to move the little slider to any position within the almost 2 hour video, and it plays immediately without any buffering delay.

I was curious about what the secret was to how Silverlight works, so I checked my browser cache to see what kind of files were being downloaded. It turns out that the video is chunked into hundreds of files that are about 200KB each instead of being downloaded as one huge file like Flash video files are (i.e the format used by YouTube). That's how you're able to navigate to any part of video and have it play almost immediately. Pretty ingenious.

Couldn't get it to play even with Silverlight already installed. I take it the vid was about olympic archers?
