The good thing about getting old, is that you can hit the ball out of sight.

I took 9 days off after the marathon. Last week I did a 2 mile and 5 mile run. This week it was 5 on Monday, 3 1/2 on Wednesday and 7 1/2 yesterday. I must say my knee is feeling much better.

I'll probably keep the 3 times a week thing going until January/February. Probably mix in some other aerobic (indoor cycle, elliptical) as well.

A friend of my wife is wanting to do a marathon next May so that might be the next goal.

I understand Melbourne has a marathon around that time.  Cool

So maybe I am crazy after this:

Check that, I am crazy.

Got back into training full time in January and what do you know.......3:19:15 yesterday. No *feces*. Flat, Fast and Friendly Fargo.

And the rest of the story is that time qualifies me for the Boston Marathon next year. I'm going to register to run it because I'm not sure I'll ever have the chance to do something like that again.
