Halloween Trick Or Treaters

We haven't had any Trick-or-Treaters for a while so I just turned off the front light. We had 43 kids show up this year. Up from last year in the 20s, but down from two years ago. It rained here last night and was damp all day, so I wasn't expecting very many. How was the turnout in your area?

Didn't count, but prolly 60+ : like you, up from last year, down from years previous. Fun though. Two doors to my left was playing music and hooting it up. Three doors to my right had the punch going for the adults. A group of girls return for a second run so they could share more jokes with me. Love the kids that do that, adds to the fun. Too much candy left over though - my co-workers will suffer My holloween is tomorrow night. The ladies chose the costume theme - I'm the Mexican border crosser to their ****y border patrol outfits. They have handcuffs prepared for me after I told them four of them couldn't tame my latin arse. I wanted to be the doctor to their nurses, but they preferred the border patrol outfits. They wanted to be fairy princesses to my prince charming, but I refused to wear the tights.

We took the boys out so no one was home. Where we went (we go every year to Darla's sisters house about a mile away) there were a lot of kids out. Probably the most I have seen since we moved to where we are, about 8 years. Lots of houses getting in on the festivities. I think some people enjoy Halloween more then Christmas.

We probably had more than we had the last few years, but not that many. The weather was perfect. Clear and upper 60's.

I was out with Maddie. All the candy was gone, and we saw a lot of kids while we were out, so I'd guess the turnout was was decent.

I took the youngest out with some friends and it appeared to be a good number of kids that were out. Weather was perfect which helps.

We weren't home. I put the candy on the porch with a stern warning about karmic misalignment by taking more than one's fair share. Given that we only get maybe 10-15 trick or treaters every year and an entire Costco sized bag of candy was gone when we got home, I'm going to assume your average trick or treater is not terribly concerned with karma.

Those little *fudge*ers need a good, forceful magic underwear wedgie.
