Dude just creamed my neighbors car
« on: December 16, 2008, 10:33:15 PM »

Woke up the neighborhood.  He caught a patch of ice (apparently, no one saw) spun around and creamed my neighbors kids car along with a few posts he has in the yard.  Seems like a decent guy that was not running from anything, just bad luck.  Spanish speaking lad jonesing for a cigarette.

His daughter slept through it apparently, but boy will she be pissed in the morning.  That car is fooked - slid two car lengths after being hit - in front of my driveway now.  Going to go help push it back now.  Whew!

Speaking of down on your luck people trapped in a downward-spiraling economic crisis who don't really need something like this to happen (stop)  I Will likely chautauqua to StL a few days following Christmas the holiday to reconnoiter with members of Blader clan(stop).  Will monitor weather forecast(stop).  Blader Jr and I will  bring sticks if it looks like your area will derive any benefit from the alleged man- made global warming(stop).

Sounds similar to an incident that happened to my neighbor shortly after we moved into our house.

One late summer Saturday night we heard a huge crash from the street as if tons of metal was rolling down it.  And we go outside to find two mangled cars one belonging to my neighbor two houses down.  His car ended up next to our natural gas thing in our yard about 50 feet away from where it was always parked.  The other car was in the street in front of my neighbors about 75 feet away from the collision.  And that driver was getting out and into a friends car that was apparently following them down the street.  So they did a hit and run leaving their car in the street.  They seemed like young kids in two cars driving way to fast down the street.  The front car went around my neighbor's parked truck and the back car ran right into it going at least 40 mph into 25.  We henceforth warn everyone of our friends about parking in the street at our house.

Be careful of the neighbor's car when you make the turn to hobbit's house.

Best of luck on the chautauqua, right now the weather sucks but things change.  I will be reconnoitering with members of the hobbit clan in Florida until the 28th.  If those are the dates and don't work out for me, gammapi, contrary to the unflattering names I have for him, is a gracious host.

I'm staying right here for the holiday, so bring it on. At the very least maybe we can get together over a Coke, or a beer or some other mind altering liquid, just nothing that's frozen. Had enough of that *feces* already, and it's not even officially winter until this weekend.  Disgusted Sad Gamma Pi Jr. is always game for a round on the frozen tundra, as well. He'll be around until the 28th, I think, then he is going on his own little campaign to Florida with his college posse.

And, any moniker that Hobbit has pinned on me is appropriate and willfully earned.
