Playing golf in Washington State I learned a long time ago that most of the year it is a really bad idea to try and take a divot, it's so wet here that you literally take something that resembles a dead beaver (please limit the jokes, there are ladies present).

So I tend to be a sweeper of the ball with all my clubs and very rarely take what a normal golfer would call a divot. I tried several years ago to change that and take divots, especially with my mid and low irons, but it ended up just screwing my swing up even more.

What was the question?  Huh?
