Just bought a box of these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutty_barsThe snack consists of four wafers sandwiched together by a peanut butter mixture and covered in chocolate. Gonna roll the dice in a bit. Wish me luck!

Swear to god: I go in the store to buy them, come out and the radio is doing a piece on US Peanut and how they just shipped *feces* to everywhere for as long as they could. A LONG piece that lasted until I pulled into the driveway... So far so good, though!

Dude! Your post links to this: Nutty bars From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Nutty Bars found in a grocery store in the United States.
Nutty bars in the United States are a snack manufactured by McKee Foods under the brand title of Little Debbie. And there are no good attorneys.

Should have been clearer:
A 'Nab' is a specific type of snack. It's a little sandwich made of:
2 crackers, between which is placed a paste purporting to be cheese, peanut butter, or similar.
Usually buy them in packs of 6 or 8 little sandwiches for under 50 cents, and you can buy a box for 2 or 3 bucks.
Those are what the Little Debbie recall is referring to. Nutty Bars are more in the 'Cookie' or 'Snack Cake' category.
You will now HAVE to move to Palo Alto, because if anybody in Charlotte finds out you don't know what a 'Nab' is they'll run you out.

I see the disconnect now -- didn't notice your calling them nabs in the more recent post. My bad.
And yeah, Lance nabs are not affected. I have three boxes (24 packs) in a drawer in my office.

I have three boxes (24 packs) in a drawer in my office. A nab ranch? I always have a box at work, but 3 of the big boxes seems alot to me. Then again, I probably don't work the kind of (unannounced) bizarrely insane office hours you do. 'What, the Pensky File needs updating? No worries, I got nabs and a Pepsi!'

Just to be sure we've departed your original topic and are reaching our cruising altitude:
I'm somewhat famous around the office for my well-stocked pantry: * Lance reduced-fat peanut butter and cheese crackers; * almonds; * Nutri-Grain bars; * Dole fruit cups (pear, mandarin orange, peach) and applesauce; * Utz pretzels (sticks and minis); * Quaker Oats reduced-sugar instant oatmeal; * boxes of organic raisins (Harris Teeter house brand).

The topic was clearly snack foods, so I don't see much of a jack going here.
You eat better at work than I do at home, LOL!
Usually just nabs (hey, they can be breakfast!), some gum/mints and maybe a beverage in the refrigerator.
Occasionally a box of granola bars, but them things are expensive!
