Authorities in California say a man wanted for a store robbery was arrested when he showed up to take a test to become a police officer. A Chula Vista police spokesman said investigators had identified Romeo Montillano, 40, as a suspect in a theft last year at a Kmart store.

I'd imagine that the first couple of questions of the test would read:

1) "Have you committed a crime in the past 12 months?"

2) "If you answered Yes, what crime was committed?

3) "Have you been arrested or charged over this crime?"

Stop here if you've answered "Yes" to questions 1 and "No" to question 3.

Congratulations, you have completed the State of California Police Department, Police Officer Test.

Please take this Test to the Officer at the front of the room, where you will be arrested and charged accordingly.
