[SPOILERS] Angels and Demons
« on: May 17, 2009, 07:57:10 PM » |

Susan wanted to go see a movie tonight. I thought it was a good idea and we haven't been to a theater for a movie sans kids in a loooong time. We decided on Angels and Demons.
Dull. And 20-30 minutes too long.
Just really blah.
YMMV.

Star Trek would have been my first choice.

Star Trek would have been my first choice. While I have enjoyed past Star Trek incarnations, for some reason this one hasn't got my interest. Maybe because to me it kind of looks like kids dressing up as Kirk and Spock and making a movie. I'll see it at some point. It was Susan's first choice though. Should have listened because guaranteed it would have been better.

Catch a ride with hobbit, to the man card return center.
I think this Star Trek looks pretty interesting.

Thats a shame - I think its his best book, better than The DaVinci Code.
Then again, I've only ever seen one movie that did not disappoint after having read the book - Silence of the Lambs.

That may have been part of the problem. I really enjoyed the book. Not a literary classic but a fun read.

I agree A&D was a better book than DaVinci Code. I've not read any of his other books. I thought the DaVinci Code movie was crap, I don't expect this one to be any better, might catch it on DVD. Maybe.
