Yeah I know. It's freakin' amazing the words they're able to spell. Words I've never heard of, and likely will never hear outside a this spelling bee.

Yup. These German-rooted words knocked out a couple of the spellers. Those damn French words would have really *fudge*ed me up, but these kids were rattling those words off like they were spelling "cat".

That chick that won it already has a leg up on the competition just spelling her own last name. I'm bitter, I never made it out of the first round and always had to go back to my desk and put my head down. Unfare!
