Whether or not this becomes a real "civil war" remains to be seen. The revolution that occurred 30 years ago started similarly with liberal student protestors demanding more freedom, but they also had the help of the religious movement in overthrowing the Shah.

depending how much you trust twitter, there's tons of dead people already.   there's youtube videos of beatings all over the place.


anyways, I just LOL'd at some clown who texted in to CNN
