Don't cry for me, Argentina...

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/...-more_politics/?GT1=43001I may switch parties, because the Governor managed to sneak a reference to Evita into his 'Mea Culpa' speech: He told reporters he spent "the last five days of my life crying in Argentina"

Lolita my eye.
As bizarre as this whole escapade is, it would not surprise me to find out the 'Other Woman' is actually the 3d generation hell spawn of Eva Braun's clone and Josef Mengele.
I did have to laugh. Hannity's radio show started JUST as this was breaking and it was hilarious for 2 reasons:
1) You could actually hear the relief in his voice that it was, apparently, a woman,
and
2) About every 8 seconds he had to say Bill Clinton or Elliot Spitzer's name, sometimes completely out of the blue.
Sort of like Tourette's without the swearing.

LOL
For gawd's sake. He went for his "long walk" over FATHER'S DAY!!!! And, now he's sorry!?! I don't care if he's Rep, Dem, Lib, Green or Sesame. Poor judgement on too many levels. I wouldn't take his advice if he were working in a clothing store trying to fit me in a shirt.

Apparently, the local paper has been sitting on the story since sometime late last year. My guess is he decided to confess on his own terms rather than have the terms dictated to him. OTOH, the whole thing is SO bizarre that there may actually be something else going on. He played 'The Gender Game' during most of his press conference and only referred to 'Maria' as a woman a couple of times. If you're guilty of murder, it can be a good idea to go ahead and confess to a bank robbery that happened the same day a couple of states away.

When I worked in the hospital, the receptionist for the emergency room was named Tina. Whenever she would call, we would sing Don't cry for me E.R. Tina!

I don't think it's right for any of us to criticize Sanford until we've nailed hot chicks from Argentina.
