US/South Africa finals... It was in jest - definitely not the same situation. But the odds were the same - powerhouse vs. never has been. I have been screaming for more playing time for Adu and Torres, but Clark played a hell of a game to prove me wrong. I'll take the egg on my face to get the win

It was in jest I know, that's why I lol'd But the odds were the same - powerhouse vs. never has been. Maybe if the US would have fielded a bunch of no name college kids today

play the game again 10 times and I bet the avg. score is close to those predicted.
that said, that's why you play the game. anything can happen.
Worst part is it saved the coach's job. Ugh.

That's why I was in my first post and glad I didn't put up a prediction. I would have never picked the game to go this way.

Losing to Spain would not have cost Bradley his job. Losing to Spain 5-1 might have. Fair play to them, they beat "the best side in the world *" away from home. And look at the Spanish starters. A who's who of football elite. * Piss off fuzzers
